Company’s Description
If you’re harboring bronze ambitions, this product is a must. This Tango wtih Bronzing Stix cream bronzer highlights, sculpts and warms the complexion, in one nifty and portable applicator.
NYX offers 4 different shades of its Tango with Bronzing Stix, which are cream bronzers/blushes/highlighters in stick form. This review is for the shade Merengue Flush–a peachy pink with golden shimmers.
Packaging: 9/10
This blush comes in a cylindrical, plastic container that twists to reveal more product. The cap snaps on securely.
Quality: 8.25/10
Merengue Flush looks like a beautiful color when applied thickly, but the pink pigmentation doesn’t stay strong as the blush is blended over the cheeks. You can layer the color to gain back some of the intensity, but I found that the color didn’t remain strong throughout the day. The shimmer is noticeable but not intense.
The formula is like that of NARS Multiples–the product has a cream formula without the emollience of cream blush products that come in a pan. The color does blend out nicely over the skin without being patchy. The product doesn’t leave an oily finish or shine.
Ease of Use: 9/10
You can apply this directly to the skin and then blend out with a brush or your fingers. You can also swipe the product onto a dense, flat brush and then apply.
Price: 9/10
For $8.00 you get 0.49 ounces (14.68 grams) of product. As a rough comparison, NYC Blushable Creme Sticks are $3.99 and contain 0.28 ounces (8 grams).
