Lasting Finish Lipstick by Rimmel London locks colour to lips for up to 8 hours wear. 50% more colour. Soft, smooth, comfortable formula.
Rimmel recently released the Kate Moss Collection, which includes 7 new, exclusive shades of its Lasting Finish lipstick. The shade 14 is reviewed, below. You can also read the review for shade 01 here.
These lipsticks come in black, plastic tubes with Kate Moss’ signature in red on them.
Shade 14 is nude color with a very slight brownish-brick undertone. It’s very easy for nudes to wash you out, but shade 14 won’t.
The formula is creamy and emollient, giving great moisture to the lips and gliding on easily. It leaves a creamy finish to the lips.
Rimmel claims this lipstick will last “up to” 8 hours, which is way longer than it will actually last. This is an average-wear lipstick, so you’ll want to touch up after 3 hours.
My biggest criticism of this lipstick is the smell. It has a very strong, sweet scent that gave me a headache after about 10 minutes of wear. Luckily, the scent faded and my headache went away after about 20 minutes.
Ease of Use: 9/10
The lipstick glides on effortlessly because of the creamy formula.
For $5-7, you get 4 grams (0.14 ounces) of product, putting this lipstick at an average drugstore price-point.
