This micro-fine pressed-powder duo delivers unprecedented wear in combination with extreme comfort and color purity. The spirited color combination was inspired by the Color of the Year and each shade can be worn alone or layered for a contoured look. Light, yet creamy to the touch, this translucent powder is packed with brown seaweed extract to keep your skin soft and supple. Smooth away fine lines and blemishes with a veil of natural coverage and give cheeks a warm, energized flush.
Sephora has partnered with Pantone for a collection featuring the “Color of the Year”: Tangerine Tango. This review is for the blush duo which includes the following colors: Desert Flower (matte light orange) and Coral (tangerine tango with gold shimmer).
This blush duo comes in a white well and has a frosted, plastic lid. The lid connects to the pan via 4 little magnets, one on each corner. The lid fits very securely.
The orange tone in both Coral and Desert Flower isn’t strongly pigmented. The golden shimmers show up prominently in Coral, but you need multiple layers and a fairly dense brush to get the orange color to show up the way it does in the pan. Once you work with the product enough, the color you get is quite beautiful.
Ease of Use: 8.25/10
Expect to apply multiple layers of both colors. Otherwise, you’ll have very faint color.
For $26.00 you get 0.38 ounces (11 grams) of product. Sephora’s Silk Blush Bronzer Duo costs $22.00 and contains 0.42 ounces.
