This blush contains round-shaped pigments that give a silky feel and diffuse light for natural, luminous cheek color.
Sunday Riley, more commonly known for its skincare line, is now offering a makeup line at Sephora stores (the line is also available at Nordstrom). The company offers six (6) powder blush colors. This review is for the color Dimples–a deep plum shade with gold shimmer.
This blush comes in a square, plastic compact with a flip-up lid. The lid is embossed with Sunday Riley’s initials. The packaging is on the slightly bulky side, but if you’re not planning on traveling with it, it’s fine.
Dimples is a deep pink-plum shade with a golden sheen to it. The shade has good pigmentation and leaves a medium shimmery finish. You can definitely control how deep and purple the shade is by using a light hand or layering the powder.
The formula is on the slightly stiff side, which results in a less than smooth application on the skin and thus requires a little more layering and blending than with a softer formula.
The wear time is good–I don’t see any fading after six (6) hours of wear.
Ease of Use: 8.75/10
The formula applies pretty evenly if you take a little extra time to touch-up and layer.
For $30.00 you get 0.1 ounces of product. The packaging is a bit deceiving because you get significantly less than the average amount of product for the price you pay.
