This blush contains round-shaped pigments that give a silky feel and diffuse light for natural, luminous cheek color.
Sunday Riley, more commonly known for its skincare line, is now offering a makeup line at Sephora stores (the line is also available at Nordstrom). The company offers six (6) powder blush colors. This review is for the color Intimate–a peachy pink with silver and gold shimmer.
This blush comes in a square, plastic compact with a flip-up lid. The lid is embossed with Sunday Riley’s initials. The packaging is on the slightly bulky side, but if you’re not planning on traveling with it, it’s fine.
Intimate is a peachy-pink blush that has both gold and silver shimmer. It’s slightly more peach than pink, so it’s a more orange version of NARS’ Orgasm. The shade has good pigmentation and leaves a medium shimmery finish.
The formula is soft and on the slightly crumbly/dusty side. The color blends over the skin pretty smoothly but doesn’t leave as seamless of a finish as less crumbly formulas do.
The wear time is good–I don’t see any fading after six (6) hours of wear.
Ease of Use: 8.75/10
The formula applies pretty evenly with a little bit of blending.
For $30.00 you get 0.1 ounces of product. The packaging is a bit deceiving because you get significantly less than the average amount of product for the price you pay.
