This next generation lip color uses a highly advanced pigment delivery system, which attaches high-impact pigments to soothing base molecules for long-lasting color. Vitamin C increases collagen levels and gives antioxidant protection to maintain youthful plumpness and repair the effects of UV exposure and other environmental damage while nourishing shea butter continuously hydrates the lips.
Sunday Riley, more commonly known for its skincare line, is now offering a makeup line at Sephora stores (the line is also available at Nordstrom). The company offers 16 lipstick colors. This review is for the shade Entrepreneur–a warm, pink-taupe.
This lipstick comes in a squared, gold plastic tube. The top of the tube has Sunday Riley’s initials. The base of the lipstick is quite heavy.
Entrepreneur is a matte, yellow-based French rose pink color. Despite having a matte formula, the color leaves a very slightly glossy finish. The color has good pigmentation without being opaque.
The formula for this color is very dry and stiff in the tube. It doesn’t bring any moisture to the lips and has an unpleasant, powdery feel. It can definitely make any dryness on the lips stand out.
Usually, matte formulas last longer, but this color lasted an average amount of time–about two (2) hours before needing a touch-up.
Ease of Use: 7.75/10
The dry, stiff formula skips over and pulls at the lips, making application unpleasant.
For $32.00 you get 0.15 ounces of product. This is a an expensive lipstick–on the order of Dior and YSL. It does contain slightly more product than average (0.12 ounces), though.
