This easy-gliding and blending, smudge-proof formula creates the perfect line every time, while the Eye Dream Highlighting Hyperliner highlights and brightens the eye, without dragging or tugging the delicate skin along the lid or lash line. Upon application, the long-wearing formula releases tiny spheres of jojoba oil and vitamin E to moisturize and prevent cracking. Use the tip for a fine line or use the side of the lead for a thicker line.
Tarina Tarantino’s Eye Dream Hyperliners come in 13 different shades and are sold exclusively at Sephora. This review is for the shade Ultraviolet, which the company describes as a metallic almost-black plum.
This liner comes in standard pencil form. You will need to sharpen the end as you use the product.
The company’s color description for Ultraviolet is very accurate. It’s a deep purple color with slightly lighter purple shimmers that give off a soft metallic finish. You can wear it for a more unique alternative to a black liner.
The formula is very soft and and has a creamy consistency. Ultraviolet gives off a virtually opaque finish.
But, contrary to the company’s claims, this liner is not smudge-proof (nor water-proof, though the company does not make this claim). It will smear if you rub your eye. But if you’re good about not touching the eye area, you should get all-day wear from this liner without worrying about the product traveling.
Ease of Use: 9/10
The creamy formula glides onto the lid with virtually no tugging and also no skipping. There’s no need to set with powder.
For $15.00 you get 1.2 grams (0.04 ounces) of product. This is the standard amount of product you’d get in a mid-range pencil liner, but the $15.00 price point is lower than most of Tarina Tarantino’s competitor brands.
