Company’s Description
TheBalm Bahama Mama is a bronzing powder formulated to leave you skin with a beautiful, natural- looking glow and a soft, silky feel. This powder is translucent, while still providing color with staying power.
Bahama Mama is theBalm’s matte powder bronzer. See below for a full review and product photographs, including swatches.
Packaging: 9/10
This bronzer comes in a thick cardboard compact with a magnetic closure and a mirror inside the lid. The lid doesn’t stay upright on its own, but since this packaging fits in your palm, this shouldn’t be too much of a problem. The compact is housed in a sleeve designed exactly like the compact itself.
Quality: 9.75/10
Bahama Mama is a light, matte sepia color. It has no unflattering orange tint to it and because it’s matte, you can use it both as a contour color and bronzer. Despite having a matte finish, it doesn’t look dry and actually has a semi-satin finish.
The formula isn’t overly powdery or stiff. It’s just the right consistency to apply well to the skin and can easily be layered. The formula, like the color, makes Bahama Mama suitable for both contouring and all-over bronzing.
The product is long-wearing, showing no signs of fading throughout the day.
Ease of Use: 9.75/10
The formula makes this bronzer blend out easily and layer effectively.
Price: 9.25/10
For $19.00, you get 7.08 grams of product. Too Faced’s bronzers cost $29.00 and contain 9.35 grams. Benefit’s Dallas bronzer is $28.00 and contains 9.1 grams. You get more for your money with theBalm’s Bahama Mama bronzer.
I have been hearing a lot about the Balm, I think I will get some things from this brand to try out. This bronzer looks like a good item to start of with.
