This palette has thick, cardboard packaging. The palette opens up the way a folder would and contains the products and a small mirror inside. The palette itself comes in a sleeve that is decorated the same way the palette is. I found it difficult to get the palette out of the sleeve because it’s so tightly packaged.
Promiscuous Pearl and Jinxy Jasmyne both have smooth formulas and great color payoff. The highlighter in Promiscuous Pearl reminds me of Stila’s Kitten, but without the pink tone. The liner is pitch-black.
Manic Maribel is very silky in texture and has great color payoff. Open to Offers Olwen has a stiffer formula, so it doesn’t transfer onto the skin as easily as Manic Maribel, but still has good color payoff. Lavish Latoya’s formula is soft like Manic Maribel’s and has equally good pigmentation.
Strawberry feels like a powder when it’s on the lips. The product gives no moisture to the skin, so it will work better as a cheek color. The color is vibrant and imparts a medium staining effect. Nude does not have a creamy formula. In fact, it’s so stiff in the pan that it takes a lot of pressure to spread out the product. But once it’s on the lips, it gives the skin more moisture than Strawberry does.
Overall, the powder products in the palette are great. The lip/cheek products leave qualities to be desired, but are decent given the on-the-go form they come in.
Ease of Use: 9.25/10
The powder products don’t take much work, given their smooth formula and strong pigmentation. The lip/cheek products aren’t creamy or soft, so they take more time to warm up and spread over the skin.
For only $28.00, you get 5 powder colors and 2 lip colors for a total of 17.5 grams (0.59 ounces). This is a great deal given the variety of products and number of colors you get.
