This velvety smooth, peachy-apricot shadow/blush adds the perfect amount of color for a foxy flush so you look stellar around the clock. Frat Boy™ leaves you with a face that’s pretty and polished. When you can’t keep the boys away, blame it on the blush.
This review is for theBalm’s blush in Frat Boy–a slightly peachy and apricot-based pink with tiny shimmers. Even though you can use this product as an eye shadow, this review focuses on Frat Boy’s performance as a blush.
This blush comes in a square compact made of thick cardboard with a magnetic closure and a mirror inside the lid. The lid doesn’t stay upright on its own, but since this packaging fits in your palm, this shouldn’t be too much of a problem. The compact is housed in a sleeve designed exactly like the compact itself.
Frat Boy is a great color that could work with both warm- and cool-toned skin. The shimmers are very subtle, making it a good blush for daytime.
The formula is the slightest-bit stiff, but it still transfers onto the skin pretty well. It applies smoothly and evenly and gives good color payoff.
Like with the other blushes I’ve used from theBalm, this one has great wear-time. I don’t need to touch up any of the color, even after 6 hours of wear.
Ease of Use: 9.5/10
Using a brush, I didn’t have any difficulty getting the color to show or with blending the powder on the skin.
