Big and blendable, this 2-in-1 waterproof 24/7 shadow pencil keeps going as long as you do. Our next generation of famous 24/7 pencils can be used as eyeshadow, eyeliner, or both!
Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide-On Shadow Pencils are said to be crease-proof and waterproof and comes in a dozen shades. This review is for the shade Morphine–a light purple with pale blue shift.
Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide-On Shadow Pencils come in standard pencil form. They are about a centimeter in diameter and will need to be sharpened as you use the product up.
Morphine is a pale lavender color with a duo-chrome finish. I absolutely love this color and it looks stunning paired with brown eyes. The color has very good color pay-off.
The formula, unfortunately, isn’t creamy enough. The pencil skips over and pulls at the skin due to the lack of softness.
The color lives up to the company’s claims of being crease-proof: I didn’t see any creasing for the 6 hours that I wore the shade. But what I did see was the color fading, and it did so in patches so that the color became more uneven over time. The fading started quickly–after the first hour of wear.
So while I think this is a to-die-for shade, I can’t give this product a high score because the formula is not long-lasting.
Ease of Use: 8/10
This formula is stiff, so you should spend time warming up the pencil or expect noticeable skipping and pulling at the skin. The pencil form is nice for getting a precise application.
For $20.00 you get 2.8 grams (0.10 ounces) of product. You get a smaller amount of product than with other pencil-form eyeshadows for the price.
