This review is for Zoya’s upcoming True collection for Spring 2012. The colors are as follows:
- Cho: Full coverage, vanilla shimmer metallic
- Farah: Full coverage, latte beige cream
- Bevin: Full coverage, pale sage green cream
- Skylar: Full coverage, silvered slate blue metallic
- Tru: Full coverage, gilded purple orchid metallic
- Lotus: Full coverage, light lotus purple metallic
Packaging: 9.5/10
Zoya polishes come in clear glass jars that narrow toward the bottom. The distance from the handle to the brush and the brush length are perfect for controlled application.
Quality: 9.5/10
Cho and Farah are both nude colors, with Cho being more yellow and Farah more beige. Bevin is a pale green. Cho, Farah, and Bevin have tiny pearls and cream finishes.
Skylar is a medium sky blue with silver shimmers. Tru is a medium purple with gold shimmers. Lotus is a lighter grey-toned purple with light purple shimmers. Skylar, Tru, and Lotus have larger shimmers in them than the first 3 colors, giving them a metallic finish.
All of these colors are opaque and even with 2 coats. You can get away with a single coat with Bevin, Skylar, Tru, and Lotus. The color payoff is strong and the formula is high-quality. The polish lasts 4-6 days before chipping.
Ease of Use: 9.25/10
The formula goes opaque on the 2nd layer and the brush design makes controlled application easy.
Price: 9/10
For $8.00, you get 0.5 fl oz of polish. This is on-par with other salon polish brands like China Glaze and OPI.

I just love opaque varnishes, but too bad zoya does not do international shipping… evilbay here I come
Glad to hear that the formula is good…but that’s fairly usual for Zoya I think. None of those colors are really calling to me.
