Achieve a flawless even complexion by applying our foundation with soft circuluar buffing sweeps.
The Airbrush Finish Bamboo Foundation Brush is Tarte’s newest brush and is intended for use with foundations like Tarte’s Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage Foundation.
This brush has a thick, wood handle and a gold-colored metal ferrule. You can tell that the brush is made with high-quality materials.
This brush’s synthetic bristles are extremely soft. You won’t feel any scratching or roughness on the skin. The bristles also have medium flexibility–a little less flexible than a fluffy blush brush.
Like Tarte claims, this brush gives a beautiful finish to the skin when you use it to blend and buff liquid foundation. I personally tested the brush with Tarte’s new Amazonian Clay foundation. No streaks were left behind and because of the size of the brush (about 2 inches in diameter), application was quick.
This brush is also versatile. I used it with bronzer and it could easily work with blush and setting powder too. What I love about using this brush is that it leaves no defined line. With some other powder brushes, you have to go over wherever you’ve applied bronzer and buff out the edges to blur the line between where there is and isn’t powder. With this brush, you don’t have to do that; the powder is blended out upon application.
Ease of Use: 10/10
This brush does your work for you–blending, buffing, and layering.
This brush costs $32.00. As a rough comparison, MAC’s 182 Buffer Brush costs $49.50 and Sephora’s Pro Foundation Airbrush brush costs $32.00.
