Like a new day drawing near, this fragrance refreshes and calms with notes of fresh marine and layers of cool cypress, mineral salt, and earthy white moss. This remarkably uncommon sensory experience reminds all that tomorrow’s secrets hint of boundless possibilities. Glide the fragrant temptation across your pulse points and envelop your senses in the lush aroma.
Melding fresh floral and botanical notes with premiere aromatic essences from land, sea, and sky, the TokyoMilk Dark Fate & Fortune Collection is a set of distinctive fragrances designed in Pairs to act as foils to one another. Dare to tempt Fate & Fortune and there is no telling where it might take you. Each rollerball in the collection comes in an elegant glass vial enclosed with a sleek cork.
TokyoMilk is a perfume brand created by internationally-renowned perfumer and designer Margot Elena. The brand is best known for creating unusual scents. Sephora now carries TokyoMilk’s “Dark” line, which features edgy, provocative perfumes.
Sephora currently sells 6 of TokyoMilk’s Parfum de Ciggaro Rollerballs. This review is for Tomorrow, which is part of TokyoMilk’s “Fate & Fortune” collection.
Notes: Mineral Salt, Marine, White Moss, Cypress
Style: Invigorating. Bright. Brisk.
TokyoMilk’s Parfum de Ciggaro Rollerballs come in clear, glass vials and are corked at the bottom. The rollerball itself is made of black material that feels like ceramic. It’s decorated with white writing and designs. Tomorrow has a flower image, the number 68, and the company and perfume name on it. The twist-off cap is made of gunmetal-colored plastic.
I love the packaging for all the perfumes in TokyoMilk’s Dark line. The packaging is masculine while still being beautiful.
Tomorrow is dominated by earthy, herbal tones and the scent of mineral salt. I smell the cypress very strongly, as well as the salt. The scent is pretty sharp and “brisk,” as the company claims.
Compared to TokyoMilk’s Dark Eaux de Parfum, Tomorrow is longer-wearing. The scent was still going strong after 3 hours, whereas TokyoMilk’s Eaux de Parfum usually fade significantly by hour 2 or 3.
TokyoMilk’s Parfum de Ciggaro Rollerballs are nicely priced. For $24.00 you get 0.33 ounces of perfume. This is a somewhat lower price-point compared to other rollerballs sold by other companies at Sephora. It’s not as good of a deal as buying a full-sized perfume bottle, but you get the convenience of travel-friendly packaging in exchange.
