Company’s Description
This holiday season, OPI celebrates the 50th Anniversary of a fellow world icon – James Bond – appearing in Skyfall. Starring Daniel Craig and Javier Bardem, this highly-anticipated twenty-third installment opens in theaters nationwide on November 9, 2012.
Inspired by the film’s blend of glamour and danger, OPI launches Skyfall Collection, featuring twelve limited-edition nail lacquers for Holiday 2012. “OPI is thrilled to work with EON Productions to celebrate 50 years of the style, swagger and mystique associated with Bond 007,” said Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director. “From metallic and glitter finishes to jewel tones and even a jet black, these lacquers capture the film’s sophisticated and glamorous look.
“Watch for Bérénice Marlohe wearing two Skyfall Collection shades in the film,” adds Weiss-Fischmann. “With Skyfall, a rich maroon, painted on top of the nail and GoldenEye, a shimmering gold, painted on the undersides, Marlohe’s luxurious manicure will be the one to try this holiday season.”
Here is a look at OPI’s James Bond-inspired 007 Skyfall nail polishes! This is Part II, where the following colors are shown:
- Moonraker: Drive your fastest car to get this exhilarating metallic grey
- Tomorrow Never Dies: This eternally intense purple will live forever
- The Living Daylights: This courageous multi-hued glitter sparkles 24/007
- On Her Majesty’s Secret Service: This misty-green pewter commands attention
- Live & Let Die: Burn the candles on both ends in this private jet black
- The World is Not Enough: This rosy silver is as addictive as it is beautiful
All colors have one (1) coat applied, unless otherwise noted. See this post for swatches of the colors from Part II.
Love your quality pictures! Thanks for a very helpful review!

You’re welcome!
Will you be doing a review over the OPI euro collection for spring/summer 2013??
I will probably do swatches.
Awesome!! Do you know when it will be released?
They should become widely available soon–this month.
Do you think Casino Royal would look nice on darker skin?
I’m sure it could, but it depends on your skin tone more than how deep your skin color is.
LOVE! this new collection. Would you pleaseeeeeeeee do a review on Youtube with live swatches?? I just bought, “Her majesty’s secret service, and The living daylights”. You do awesome reviews! Love this site too! Thanks
I will.
These look nice–I wish the Living Daylights was prettier though, since that’s my favorite Bond movie (and probably the least popular…Timothy Dalton is also my favorite Bond…because I’m weird…)
Yeah…it’s my least favorite color of all these.
Which is your favorite?
My favorite polish from Part II is Tomorrow Never Dies–you know I love purple (but only for nails, I can’t pull it off on lips or cheeks or eyes…)
And I like You Only Live Twice in Part I, but I think overall Tomorrow Never Dies wins.
And now I feel odd for blurting out my favorite Bond and Bond movie…but my dad always watches the 007 Days of Christmas or whatever they call the Bond marathons they run during holidays, so I’ve seen all of the older ones at least 2 or 3 times, probably more; the only ones I’ve haven’t seen multiple times are the newest ones–Die Another Day and the (3, now?) Daniel Craig ones.
Oh! And no “Goldfinger” polish? What’s up with that?
