Effective on all skin tones.** Clinically shown to improve the look of discolorations: 38% improvement in clarity; 25% improvement in the look of dark patches; 13% improvement in the look of dark spots.
Avon’s Anew Clinical Absolute Even Multi-Tone Skin Corrector is said to reduce the look of discoloration on the skin to help even skin tone.
This skincare product comes in a light green, reflective plastic pump bottle. This packaging is excellent because it keeps the product inside sanitary and the ingredients stable. The opaque tube also protects the product inside from sun exposure.
This moisturizer has a light-weight, gel/lotion formula that sinks into the skin. It’s best suited for people with normal to oily skin because it doesn’t leave a glossy, oily, or shiny finish. It won’t provide enough moisture to people with dry skin.
The formula is fragrance-free, contains Vitamin C (ascorbyl glucoside and tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate) to help reduce unevenness and provide the skin with antioxidants, and a couple of exfoliating ingredients. It’s not clear how much of these key ingredients are in the product (they appear in the middle of the ingredients list), so you almost certainly won’t see any dramatic difference in dark spots.
This is a good, light-weight moisturizer with some potential to help even and brighten the skin, but if you need to fade dark spots, opt for something more potent.
