Josie Maran’s Model Citizen Argan Oil Hair Serum With Radiance is an oil for your hair that is supposed to help fight frizz and give your strands an illuminating quality.
This hair oil comes in a glass, semi-opaque bottle with a pump applicator. The oil itself is a clear serum-like texture that holds a brownish tint because of the bronze shimmer particles the oil contains.
This oil is neither thin nor thick in consistency. It’s on the thinner side for an oil, so it doesn’t make your hair look greasy or weighed-down (unless you use way more product than necessary). For my purposes, I apply one or two pumps to the bottom half of my hair (where it’s most dry). The oil helps soothe dry hair, but it won’t do anything significant to tame frizz (I’ve never found a product that does).
The unique aspect of this hair oil is the shimmer (or “radiance”) it contains. But, honestly, I didn’t see a difference on my hair–it didn’t look any more shiny or radiant. The oil also doesn’t have a strong scent to it, which I find a little disappointing.
Overall, I think this is a pretty standard hair oil. It’s expensive while not being that unique.
