This review is for Organix’s Repairing Awapuhi Ginger Dry Styling Oil, which is an oil that is supposed to moisturize, soften, and fortify hair.
This hair oil comes in a plastic bottle with a flip up top. You simply turn over the bottle and the oil will come out.
This product has a light, pleasant scent. Compared to the Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Penetrating Oil, this scent is less noticeable. While the Moroccan Argan Oil fragrance stays in my hair for a full day, it’s very hard for me to pick up the Awapuhi scent in my hair even after just a few hours. I like the fact that the fragrance is light-weight, but I wish it were longer-wearing.
This oil doesn’t weigh down your hair or make it look greasy. It helps bring a little bit of shine and nourishment to your strands. But remember that no hair product, no matter how high-quality, can “repair” split ends or damaged hair.
I simply dispense a dime-sized amount of the oil in my palms and run it through the bottom half of my strands. Hair oils, in terms of their effectiveness, don’t vary that much. So this is a great choice if you’re looking for an affordable hair oil without the fragrance.
