Company’s Description

Harness the power of the ocean with marine extracts. Coconut water and natural actives come together in our gentle sulfate-free foaming cleanser that removes daily toxins and make-up. Deeply cleanse, balance and refresh tired skin. Remember, one of the best defenses against aging skin is daily cleansing.

Pacifica has recently developed a skincare line, adding to its more long-standing fragrance and beauty line. This review is for Pacifica’s Sea Foam Complete Face Wash, which is a foaming cleanser for the face.

This face wash comes in a long, opaque, plastic squeeze-tube with a flip-open cap.

This cleanser is pretty much clear and has a gel consistency. It lathers heavily and quickly once mixed with water, effectively cleansing dirt, oil, and makeup from your skin.

This cleanser has a distinct coconut scent to it, which is partly due to the fragrance that’s added. Fragrance is something you should generally avoid in makeup and skincare products, but the inclusion of fragrance in this product is mitigated by the fact that it’s the last ingredient on the list, so there’s only a small amount of it. Plus, cleansers only stay on your skin for a handful of seconds, which further mitigates the negative impact of fragrance on your skin. This cleanser would be better without the added fragrance, but it’s not a huge infraction.

You’re also getting a ton of product for the price. For example, Soap & Glory also has a 5 ounce bottle of cleanser, but it costs $16.00 as opposed to the Sea Foam’s $11.00 price tag.
