A super-wearable, sheer, creamy color for stunning eyes. This sheer wash of lightweight, creamy color is easy to wear and will make your eyes pop. Layerable and long-wearing, simply glide one on for a swift tint, contour with another to add depth, and yet another to highlight. Best of all, it never needs sharpening—just swivel up to reveal more of the shadow.
Clinique’s Chubby Stick Shadow Tints are cream-formula eye shadow pencils that come in 12 different shades. This review is for Pink & Plenty–a pink with a golden sheen.
This eye shadow comes in a plastic jumbo pencil that twists at the base to push up the product. The cap slides on and off.
Pink & Plenty is suppose to be a pink color with a golden sheen. But, despite its name, there’s nothing plenty about the pink pigmentation in this eye shadow. The color is difficult to see on the lid, even after swiping the pencil back and forth on the lid several times. And while the gold sheen the shadow has is pretty, you can’t really appreciate it because you can barely tell it’s there.
This eye shadow’s formula glides onto the skin easily. This color creased more quickly than some of the other Chubby Sticks–after about two (2) hours without primer and after about five (5) with primer.
Ease of Use: 8.5/10
The formula applies easily, but the pigmentation doesn’t show up and you need to swipe the pencil across your skin several times.
For $16.00 you get 0.1 ounces of product. You get a good amount of product for less than many of Clinique’s competitors.
