Turn on your lips to a limited-edition lipstick inspired by the Award Winning AMC Drama Mad Men. Creamy, satin finish and smooth, rich color. The Pinkadelic shade captures the soft-lipped, sexy innocence of the ’60s perfectly. Lipstick case and carton are replicas of actual designs from Estée Lauder’s ’60s era collections.
Estee Lauder’s second Mad Men collection for Spring 2013 features a Rich Lipstick in the color Pinkadelic–a soft pink with a slight metallic sheen.
This lipstick comes in a vintage-inspired, gold, ribbed, plastic tube.
Pinkadelic is a soft pink shade that gives off a slight but noticeable metallic sheen.
The formula is creamy and somewhat moisturizing. The lipstick does have an “old” scent that I found a little unpleasant, but it didn’t linger once I applied the product.
This shade will be easily wearable by many skin tones and shades. On the other hand, the pink isn’t very unique and won’t stand out on most people.
The formula also isn’t particularly long-wearing and only lasted about an hour and a half before wearing off.
Ease of Use: 9/10
This lipstick’s creamy formula glides over the lips easily and the soft shade makes slow, precise application unnecessary.
For $30.00 you get 0.13 ounces of product. The higher price-point is expected, given the special nature of the collection and packaging, but $30.00 is still steep for this amount of product.
