The Flower Shadow Play Eye Shadow Quad offers four gorgeous shades with color that blends evenly and flawlessly on the eyelid.
Drew Barrymore’s Flower Collection includes four (4) different eye shadow quads. This review is for the Face The Grey quad.
The Flower eye shadow quads come in white, plastic compacts shaped like pinched squares. The compacts have clear lids and fold open.
Face The Grey contains a pale lavender with silver sparkles, a soft satin grey, a velvet slate-plum, and a pale shimmering slate-lilac.
Unlike the shadows in the Smoke and Mirrors palette, these shadows are neither creamy nor dry. The pigmentation is decent. I wish the formula were creamier–the shadows don’t blend as evenly or smoothly as I’d prefer.
These colors began to crease after about five (5) hours of wear without primer and after about seven (7) hours of wear with primer. The colors began to fade before they began to crease. The colors maintained their pigmentation through the day.
Ease of Use: 8.25/10
These shadows will produce a little bit of fallout and they take a little extra time to blend in order to achieve a smooth finish.
For around $10.00 you get 0.21 ounces (6 grams) of product. This is on the pricier side, given the amount of product you get and compared to other drugstore brand quads.
