Company’s Description
Flower Sheer Up Lip Tint is a crayon lip balm, with a sheer tint of color and shine. Leaves your lips feeling moisturized and hydrated.
Drew Barrymore’s new cosmetics line–Flower–contains a line of lip tints, available in five (5) different shades. This review is for the shade Airy Orchid–a sheer, soft, ruby.
Packaging: 9/10
This lip tint is housed in plastic, jumbo pencil-form packaging. The base twists to reveal more product, so you don’t have to sharpen anything.
Quality: 8.25/10
Airy Orchid is a semi-sheer, soft ruby color without shimmer that can be built up slightly with layering. It leaves a semi-glossy finish on the lips.
The lip tint is emollient and moisturizes the lips. There’s no sticky texture or unflattering scent. But the product is pretty short-living, lasting only an hour or so before wearing off. The color leaves a very slight stain behind on the lips.
Ease of Use: 9.5/10
This pencil-form lip tint is easy to use. The tint transfers onto the skin without tugging and the pointed end makes precise application pretty simple.
Price: 9/10
For around $8.00 you get 0.1 ounces (2.8 grams) of product. Revlon’s Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains run about the same price and amount, but those give you the added benefit of a stain.
