Flower Sheer Up Lip Tint is a crayon lip balm, with a sheer tint of color and shine. Leaves your lips feeling moisturized and hydrated.
Drew Barrymore’s new cosmetics line–Flower–contains a line of lip tints, available in five (5) different shades. This review is for the shade Lacy Laurel–a sheer, soft, warm pink.
This lip tint is housed in plastic, jumbo pencil-form packaging. The base twists to reveal more product, so you don’t have to sharpen anything.
Lacy Laurel is a very soft, yellow-based pink shade without shimmer. It leaves a glossy finish on the lips. The color is sheer, so you have to swipe the product several times to get it to show up.
The lip tint is emollient and moisturizes the lips. There’s no sticky texture or unflattering scent. But the product is pretty short-living, lasting only an hour or so before wearing off. And, because of Lacy Laurel’s light pigmentation, the product doesn’t give you the benefit of any sort of stain left behind on the lips.
Ease of Use: 9.5/10
Other than having to swipe the product multiple times to get the color to show, this pencil-form lip tint is easy to use. The tint transfers onto the skin without tugging.
For around $8.00 you get 0.1 ounces (2.8 grams) of product. Revlon’s Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains run about the same price and amount, but those give you the added benefit of a stain.
