BH Cosmetics Holiday 2013

Packaging: 9/10

Illamasqua’s Fatale Palette comes in a pinched square palette made of reflective black plastic. There is also a full-sized mirror inside.

Quality: 8.75/10

This palette contains 2 neutral and 2 festive shades: a golden copper, a strawberry-cranberry, a soft lilac-plum, and a smoky taupe. All 4 shades have a shimmery finish and good pigmentation.

The formula for the colors could be a tad creamier, but they otherwise perform well by giving off good color and applying fairly smoothly over the skin.

Ease of Use: 9/10

The powder transfers well onto the skin and blends out nicely also.

Price: 8.25/10

For around $55.00 you get 0.2 ounces (6 grams) of product. For the amount of product you get, this is definitely on the pricey side.

I’ve never really be bowled over by Illamasqua eyeshadows. It’s the blushes that I love and some of the nail polishes. I’m not usually one who likes a scented product but, the Illamasqua blushes smell so pretty and not at all overwhelming.
