A retro-cool eye and cheek palette inspired by classic, feminine style. The Mint Edition Eye/Cheek Palette contains a variety of eight matte and shimmer eye shadows and a blush and face highlighter, all made with Lorac’s original velvety-smooth formula. This full-face collection also features a limited-edition exclusive Couture Shine Liquid Lipstick in Retro, a nude-pink shade that flatters all skintones.
This review is for LORAC’s limited edition Mint Edition Palette, which includes eight (8) eye shadows, two (2) cheek colors, and a lip gloss.
This palette looks like a retro mint and silver clutch. It keeps shut with a magnet and contains a mirror inside. The lip gloss comes separately and has a short brush applicator.
The eye shadows in this palette are divided into mattes and shimmers. These eye shadows have a good formula, though they aren’t as smooth and creamy as LORAC’s PRO palette shadows.
The highlighting powder gives off fantastic shimmer without looking gritty. The blush has very soft color, so I had to apply multiple layers to get it to show up.
The lip gloss is a very wearable shade. It isn’t sticky and hydrates the lips, but it only lasts an hour or two on the lips.
Ease of Use: 8.5/10
The blush needs layering and some of the eye shadows aren’t as smooth on the skin during the first swipe.
This set costs $42.00 and contains 0.34 ounces of eye shadow, 0.22 ounces of cheek powder, and 0.17 ounces of lip gloss. For the amount of product you get, this is a very good price.
