This review is for the new, limited-edition Fluidline releasing with MAC’s Divine Night Collection.
- Stares & Speculation: Dirty olive with gold pearl
Two other shades are re-promoted with this collection too: Deliciously Rich (click for review), and Macroviolet (which is permanent).
Stares & Speculation is an olive shade with gold micro-shimmer. It’s not opaque and the color looks sort of dull on the skin. This is definitely not a favored shade of mine.
The formula is a gel that glides across the skin pretty smoothly, but you need to work in small dashes to get a more opaque finish and layering too much can make the liner bumpy on the skin.
Although this Fluidline costs $1.50 more than the usual $16.00 that Fulidlines cost, the only difference between it and the regular Fluidlines is that the MAC logo on the jar is in gold instead of black.
