A luxuriously blendable moisturizing concealer in a tube with built-in doe-foot applicator. Goes on exactly where you want it: blends in for a natural satin-smooth ultra-moisturized finish. Layers up for added coverage. Line-softening, skin-perfecting: The Pros’ “select” for under-eyes and delicate skin. Wide shade range provides soft, natural camouflage.
This review is for MAC’s Select Moisturecover concealer, which MAC claims is blendable, moisturizing, and buildable. The shade depicted in this post is in NC20.
This concealer comes in a short, clear, plastic tube with a twist-off cap connected to a doe-foot applicator.
The Select Moisturecover concealer has a thin cream/liquid consistency. The concealer leaves a satin finish that doesn’t look shiny/oily or matte.
I love this concealer for using under the eyes. It’s rare to find a concealer that sinks into the skin seamlessly. MAC’s Select Moisturecover not only gives medium coverage (that can be built up to almost full coverage) but does so without emphasizing any dryness and without looking like a mask. It also covers spots and blemishes on the face nicely.
This formula doesn’t adhere as strongly to the skin as drier or thicker formulas do, but does a good job maintaining its wear-time through the day.
Ease of Use: 9.75/10
You can blend this concealer in with a brush if you prefer, but it’s absolutely not necessary. You can apply the product to the area you want to conceal with the doe-foot applicator, then dab with your finger to blend in the product. You also do not need to set the concealer with powder.
For $18.00 you get 0.17 ounces (5 ml) of product. Compared to MAC’s other liquid-type concealers, you get much less product with the Select Moisturecover concealer.
