Five complementary shades that glide on and blend beautifully for infinite day-to-night looks: light peach, bright champagne with pearl, dark olive, blackened green with gold pearl and deep forest green with pearl. Matte to highly pearlized finish.
This review is for the Veluxe Pearlfusion eye shadow palette in Greenluxe, which releases with MAC’s Veluxe Pearlfusion Shadow Collection for Summer 2013. This palette includes shades of light peach, bright champagne with pearl, dark olive, blackened green with gold pearl and deep forest green with pearl.
This palette contains a frosty off-white, a very pale shimmering gold, a grey-taupe, an olive green with gold shimmer, and a brown with a forest green shift.
MAC states that you can apply these eye shadows wet for a super saturated, metallic effect, or dry for sheer coverage with a soft, sparkling finish. Applied dry, the shades in Greenluxe have good pigmentation and apply very smoothly. Applied wet, the pigmentation intensifies. The bottom shade changes the most: applied wet, this shade looks more like MAC’s Club eye shadow and the green shift is much, much more noticeable.
