Madison Street Beauty is a natural and vegan cosmetic line that offers 100 loose pigment eye shadow shades. This review is for the eye shadow in Mint–a semi-sheer and shimmery mint green color.
This loose eye shadow pigment comes in a clear, plastic jar with a twist-off cap and a sifter inside.
Mint is a semi-sheer, very pale mint green with a subtly frosty finish. The color is delicate without looking weak. The light green color also makes this shade more wearable in the daytime, compared to a more overt green shadow. You can apply this with a damp brush for a more intense finish.
The pigment applies in a buttery-smooth layer on the skin, giving off a shimmery sheen. The shimmery quality is refined and won’t produce any chunky surface or fall-out.
This pigment lasted on my lids for a about 4 hours before creasing when applied over bare skin. With primer applied underneath, there was still no creasing after a full 10 hours of wear.

This pigment is incredibly easy to use. You have to take the time to pack it onto the brush and tap the brush before application (like you do with any loose shadow), but after that, you don’t have to worry about fall-out, layering, or extra blending. You can apply the pigment with a damp brush if you want a more intense finish or apply it with a dry brush for a smooth layer of color.
For $4.99 you get 0.035 ounces (1 gram) of product. Per ounce, this actually works out to be more expensive than a MAC pigment and is about the same price per ounce as Maybelline’s Color Tattoo Pure Pigments.
