Micro-corrector applicator + super concentrated formula instantly creates a radiant, refreshed looking eye area. Super concentrated formula with goji berry + haloxyl helps to erase the appearance of dark circles and fine lines, while visibly diminishing the appearance of puffiness around the eyes.
Maybelline’s Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer is a concealer for the eye area. The product is marketed for erasing dark circles and fine lines. The product comes in 5 shades and a brightener. This review is for the shade Light.
This concealer comes in a clear tube with a rounded sponge applicator at one end. You twist the base of the applicator, which pushes product up through the tube and through small openings just under the sponge. This packaging isn’t the most convenient since it takes a few twists to get enough product into the applicator. It’s also not the most sanitary since you can’t wash the sponge and you’re using it repeatedly.
The shade Light matches well for the under-eye area for my NC20 skin, but is a little too light to use on the rest of my face. The shade is significantly lighter on the skin that what it looks like in the tube.
This concealer has a liquid and slightly mousse-like texture to it. If you have dry skin, this formula might not have enough moisture for you, especially when it comes to the under-eye area. I find I get medium, not full-coverage, out of this concealer. You can still see some darkness peeking through in the under-eye area, and I don’t have strong dark circles under my eyes.
Ease of Use: 8.5/10
This concealer takes a bit of dabbing and blending, otherwise it looks streaky.
For around $8.99, you get 0.2 fl oz of product. While Revlon’s concealers are some of the most expensive at the drugstore, this concealer by Maybelline is also on the more expensive side.
