Packaging: 9.75/10

The outside of this very pretty compact is made of berry-toned plastic with a floral design. The compact is light-weight, snaps shut, and contains a full-sized mirror inside. The palette also comes with a double-ended sponge-tip applicator.

Quality: 9/10

This palette contains a total of 6 shades: 3 shades occupy small sections of the pan while the other 3 shades occupy large sections of the pan. The colors include: metallic frosty silver, yellow-toned gold, antique gold, rich taupe, dark navy blue, and black with silver shimmer.

The first three colors (which occupy the small sections) are more metallic compared to the other 3 shades, and also have softer pigmentation. The taupe shade is the most intense in color and smooth on the skin. The navy and black shades also have good pigmentation, and can be built up effectively with layering to get your desired strength.

The formula for Missha’s Signature Velvet Art Shadows is a little stiff on the surface of the pan, but they transfer onto the skin surprisingly well.

Whether I applied these shades over a primer or not, I got the same color intensity and crease-free wear for the first five (5) hours. After five hours, the creasing was more noticeable and increased more quickly when I didn’t have primer underneath.

Ease of Use: 8.75/10

This formula takes a little more pressure and swipes of the brush to get a sufficient amount of product to transfer, but the shadows otherwise apply and blend easily. The sheerer quality of the shadows also makes them more forgiving in application.

Price: 9.5/10

For $23.00 you get 7 grams of product. This is a generous amount of shadow given the price-point.
