With NYC New York Color Sun 2 Sun All Over Bronzing Powder it’s like the sun is shining on you every day – without the harmful effects. Two coordinated bronzing powders heat up the hue of your skin while minimizing shine, giving you a believable back-from-the-beach tan tone instantly. Get bronzed in a pinch.
NYC’s Sun 2 Sun Bronzing Powder comes in 2 different shade duos. This review is for the duo Terracotta Tan, which includes a medium and deep tan color.
This powder bronzer duo comes in a circular pan, divided down the middle for the 2 shades, with a slide-off, clear, thin, plastic lid.
Terracotta Tan has a deep, slightly orange-toned tan color and a lighter tan shade. The entire pan has shimmer, but the shimmer is very fine and not that noticeable. The shimmer in the lighter shade is more noticeable, so I use the darker shade for contouring and the lighter shade as a highlighter. The darker shade is slightly orange-toned, but isn’t not so orange that it looks like fake tanner. You can also use the lighter shade as a cheek color.
The powder’s formula is finely-milled, so it blends out well on the skin. The pigmentation is light to medium strength, so when I’m using a powder brush I have to go over the area that I’m shading 2-3 times to get the strength of contouring I want.
Ease of Use: 8.75/10
The powder transfers and blends nicely, but you might want to apply a couple of layers to get the strength of color you’re looking for.
