Rimmel’s long-standing line of Lasting Finish Lipsticks come in 17 different shades and are widely available at drugstores and ULTA. This review is for the lipstick in Crush–a shimmering peach/apricot.
These lipsticks come in a deep brown, plastic tube.
Crush is an orange-based peach shade with a low level of silver shimmer. It leaves a slight sheen on the lips. Crush has good pigmentation, but it’s a bit too orange (or too truly “peach”) and, consequently, is difficult to wear in full force. I can only really wear it sheered out or mixed with a different color.
I’m also not a fan of the formula for this shade. It’s a little drying and makes my lips look cracked and wrinkled. The lipstick also has a very strong, unflattering smell.
Ease of Use: 8.75/10
The lack of creaminess in the formula means this lipstick doesn’t glide over the skin, but it’s otherwise simple to use.
For $3-5, you get 4 grams (0.14 ounces) of product, putting this lipstick at an average drugstore price-point.
