Scandal Eyes Eyeshadow Stick by Rimmel London is a creamy and blendable eye shadow that provides a rich, intense colour impact with a luminous finish. 24HR wear. Waterproof & Smudge-proof.
Rimmel’s new Scandal Eyes Eyeshadow Sticks are said to be color-rich, creamy, waterproof and smudge-proof. This pencil comes in nine (9) different shades. This review is for the shade Bad Girl Bronze–a milk chocolate brown with shimmer.
This eyeshadow stick comes in a standard pencil which will need to be sharpened as you use up the product.
Bad Girl Bronze is a milk chocolate brown with a low level of gold shimmer.
The formula for this shadow stick is extremely creamy without being overly soft to the touch. It glides onto the skin with good, buildable color. You can smudge out the color during the first 10 seconds of wear. After that, the product dries and sets.
This shadow is long-lasting, but I wouldn’t say it’s water- or smudge-proof the way Rimmel claims. It will fade and smudge if you rub your eyes and isn’t as powerful as, say, Make Up For Ever’s Aqua Shadows.
Ease of Use: 9.75/10
This pencil transfers onto the skin effortlessly, avoiding tugging or skipping on the lash line. You can use this shadow as a liner or an eye shadow color. You can also smudge out the line during the first 10 seconds or so of wear.
For around $5.00 you get a great amount of product for a cheaper price than most other drugstore-brand shadow sticks.
