Scandal Eyes Eyeshadow Stick by Rimmel London is a creamy and blendable eye shadow that provides a rich, intense colour impact with a luminous finish. 24HR wear. Waterproof & Smudge-proof.
Rimmel’s new Scandal Eyes Eyeshadow Sticks are said to be color-rich, creamy, waterproof and smudge-proof. This pencil comes in nine (9) different shades. This review is for the shade Tempting Turquoise–a shimmering, medium aqua-turquoise.
This eyeshadow stick comes in a standard pencil which will need to be sharpened as you use up the product.
Tempting Turquoise is a fairly bright, medium, shimmering turquoise-aqua shade. The color has great pigmentation and the shimmer is noticeable, but not strong.
The formula for this shadow stick is extremely creamy without being overly soft to the touch. It glides onto the skin with good, buildable color. You can smudge out the color during the first 10 seconds of wear. After that, the product dries and sets.
You can also absolutely wear this color in the water-line. This shadow is long-lasting, and pretty much water- and smudge-proof. I wore this in the water-line for a nighttime look, and the color hadn’t budged and had barely changed in color strength after four (4) to five (5) hours of wear.
Ease of Use: 9.75/10
This pencil transfers onto the skin effortlessly, avoiding tugging or skipping on the lash line. You can use this shadow as a liner or an eye shadow color. You can also smudge out the line during the first 10 seconds or so of wear.
For around $5.00 you get a great amount of product for a cheaper price than most other drugstore-brand shadow sticks.
