Company’s Description

Turn heads wherever you go. Stila’s beautiful and exclusive first-to-market formula is unlike anything you’ve ever seen. Each pan is a piece of art: vibrant pigments are handmade using a proprietary pressing and baking process. The full-coverage formula is long-wearing and packaged in a festive, colorful compact. Wear each shade alone; blend two shades together; swirl all three shades for a pop shade; or swipe across all three shades to create a multi-shade streaked effect. Use your creativity and let your imagination run wild.

For Stila’s Spring 2013 collection, the company released a new colored powder product–the Countless Color Pigments–which each contains multiple, vibrant colors and comes in seven (7) different color combinations. This review is for Finale, which contains golden peach, tangerine, and reddish pink pigments.

Packaging: 9/10

These powders come in small, plastic compacts with snap-shut, see-through lids. The compacts are color-matched to once of the shades found inside.

Quality: 9/10

Finale contains a range of red-, pink-, and orange-toned shades. The powder leaves a sheen to the skin. There aren’t any shimmer or glitter particles in the formula, but it definitely isn’t matte. The powder has good pigmentation and gives off bright color. The finish is translucent.

Stila doesn’t restrict use of this product to one part of the face. I (probably unsurprisingly) prefer to use this as a blush. Used as an eye shadow, the color is bright, but its translucent quality makes it less than ideal. As a blush, the color is extremely vibrant, so you only need a tiny amount of product. The color stays strong all day without fading or becoming patchy.

Ease of Use: 9/10

For the cheeks, I use a thin fan brush and tap it lightly across the pan. Make sure to use a small amount of product at a time because the colors are very bright. You can also use the shades in the pan individually instead of mixing them all together, but each color occupies a small amount of space, so you’ll need a small brush to do this.

Price: 9/10

For $22.00 you get 0.1 ounces of product.
