Let your eyes do the talking with Put A Lid On It, a quick-drying primer designed to give your boldest looks staying power. Packaged in an easy-to-squeeze tube, this primer grabs your shadow and demands attention! Ensure your shades are anything but muted with Put A Lid On It…
TheBlam’s Put A Lid On It eye primer is said to impart bold color and staying power. Keep reading for photos and my thoughts about this primer.
This primer comes in a soft, plastic squeeze tube with a twist-off cap and narrow opening from which you dispense the product.
This eye shadow primer has a gel consistency. The product has a light nude color to it, which becomes invisible once you smooth it out over the lid. The finish is matte and slightly powdery.
This primer will intensify the color of your eye shadow slightly and helps extend the life of the powder. I get an average of three (3) to four (4) hours more out of my eye shadows (before they crease) when I use this primer underneath compared to applying shadows over my bare skin.
Ease of Use: 9.75/10
The formula smooths out over the skin easily.
For $18.00, you get 0.25 ounces (7.08 grams) of product. LORAC’s Behind The Scenes Eye Primer contains twice the amount of product and costs $21.00 while Tarte’s primer contains 0.39 ounces and costs $19.00. This is a good primer, but for the amount you’re getting, you can find better deals from comparable brands.
