The slim pens are conveniently color-matched to each shade.
Urban Decay’s 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Eyeliners are available in 11 different shades and tout a long-lasting, pigmented formula. This review is for the liquid liner in Smog–a deep brown with golden shimmer & iridescent sparkle.
This eye liner comes in a light-weight, opaque, plastic tube in a color matching that of the liner inside. The handle twists out to reveal a pointed, felt-tip applicator.
Smog is described by Urban Decay as a deep brown with golden shimmer & iridescent sparkle. Because of the gold shimmer against the brown background, the color obtains an almost khaki-green quality to it. The shade is pigmented and near opaque when applied to the lids.
True to Urban Decay’s claims, this eye liner is long-wearing, smudge-resistant, and water-resistant. Technically speaking, the formula isn’t smudge-proof or water-proof (when rubbing your eyes while washing your face, the liner comes off in flakes), but practically speaking (ie unless you’re weeping and rubbing your eyes at the same time while wearing this liner), you won’t have any problems with it fading or smearing for the whole day.
Ease of Use: 9.5/10
This liquid formula glides onto the skin smoothly without requiring you go over the line over and over. The narrow, felt-tip applicator also helps you get a smooth line on the lids.
For $19.00 you get a total of 0.25 ounces of product. Urban Decay’s liquid liner gives you more product at a lower price point than competitors like Stila or Make Up For Ever.
