One of two gorgeous limited-edition palettes inspired by the Disney movie “Oz the Great and Powerful.” Inspired by the Disney film’s theme of good witch vs. bad witch (and the good witch/bad witch dichotomy in all of us), Urban Decay created two collectible palettes loaded with beautiful, never-before-seen shades. Recreate Theodora’s captivating, edgy look with eight all new and exclusive eye shadows in six pans (this set includes two duo-shades that are split in half, with a different color on each side of the pan). Every shade features Urban Decay’s Pigment Infusion System™, the proprietary blend of ingredients that gives each shade its velvety texture, rich color, serious staying power, and blendability.
Urban Decay has created two (2) limited edition palettes inspired by Disney’s Oz The Great And Powerful movie.

This palette comes in a light-weight, tin palette that flips open and contains a full-sized mirror. Inside, you’ll find six (6) removable eye shadow pans and an eye liner pencil. The lip product comes inside the box, but does not fit inside the actual palette.
Super-Saturated High Gloss Color in Glinda is an intensely-pigmented nude lip product. It has a very glossy finish without the stickiness or thickness of a gloss. The texture is closer to that of a creamy lipstick. The product won’t dry out your lips, is emollient, and applies opaquely.
The 24/7 Glide on Eye Pencil in Rockstar is a a nearly-opaque, deep eggplant purple shade. The formula is creamy, making it glide onto the skin and waterline without skipping or tugging. The color will last all day without smudging or fading on the lash-line and for a good 3-4 hours on the waterline.
The eye shadows in this palette are very good quality. All of the shades, including the ones included in the duo-shade pans, have good pigmentation and glide onto the skin smoothly. I’d say the quality of the shadows in the Glinda palette are a hair better, overall, compared to those in the Theodora palette.
You get two beautiful duo-chorme colors in Aura. And, even though the glitter particles in the gold shade from the Oz pan are large, the color itself still glides across the skin opaquely and smoothly. You will get fall-out from the gold side’s glitter particles, though. The silver side of Oz also has an intense metallic sheen and opaque color.
I very much wish, though, that there were matte shades included in this palette. All of the colors in Glinda have some level of shimmer.
Ease of Use: 9.5/10
The Super-Saturated High Gloss Color glides over the lips without skipping and its pencil form allows you to apply the super-opaque color in a fairly crisp line.
The 24/7 Glide on Eye Pencil also applies to the skin without extra pressure or skipping.
The eye shadows apply to the skin evenly and smoothly and don’t require extra layering to bring out each color’s pigmentation.
For $49.00 you get a total of 0.3 ounces of eye shadow, 0.03 ounces of eye pencil, and 0.1 ounces of lip product. Purchased in single form, Urban Decay’s eye shadows will cost you $18.00 each for 0.05 ounces of product. Even if you ignore the fact that you get both an eye pencil and lip product with the Theodora Palette, you’re getting more product per dollar spent with the six (6) eye shadow pans offered in this palette.
