Wet n Wild has just released a new line of products in its Fergie CenterStage Collection. The collection includes an eye shadow primer, which is reviewed below.
Packaging: 9/10
This primer comes in an opaque, plastic squeeze tube with a twist-off cap. The opening is a little large given the thin nature of the product’s formula, which can result in you dispensing too much product.
Quality: 9.5/10
This primer has a very thin, almost watery formula. The product inside also separates, so don’t be surprised if you see a more gel-like portion of the product and more oily portion.
The primer is colorless on the skin and spreads over the skin in a thin layer.
In terms of intensifying the pigmentation of eye shadows, this primer does an excellent job. It makes weak-colored shadows much more impressive and smooth in color. In terms of keeping your shadows from creasing, this works almost as well as e.l.f.’s Essential Eyelid Primer, keeping shadows from creasing for six (6) to seven (7) hours.
Ease of Use: 10/10
The primer spreads over the skin effortlessly without any tugging and in a clear layer.
Price: 9.5/10
For about $6.00 you get 0.34 fl oz (10 ml) of product. e.l.f.’s Essential Eyelid Primers cost $1.00 but contain about half the amount of product.
