Ideal for severely dry skin, this formula has been clinically proven to repair and renew extra dry skin two times better than the leading intensive lotion. It contains extra-strength, naturally hydrating agents to help even the driest skin feel immediately soft, supple, and restored.
This review is for Curel’s Ultra Healing Intensive Moisture Lotion, which is marketed for very dry skin.
This body lotion comes in a big, opaque bottle made of plastic and comes with a pump dispenser.
The lotion inside has a formula’s that’s a cross between a cream and a gel. It’s thin and lightweight. It sinks quickly into the skin without leaving a noticeable film.
This lotion has some great ingredients for moisturizing and soothing the skin: glycerine, oat meal extract, and shea butter. I don’t know that this formula would be enough for very dry skin, but it’s definitely good for normal to dry skin.
Unfortunately, this lotion also has a couple of ingredients not good for the skin–no matter what type of skin you have. The lotion includes orange peel oil and eucalyptus leaf extract. These are two ingredients that can irritate the skin.
