Lush, luxurious color that lasts for 12 hours. Keep lips moisturized all day with a single swipe of long-lasting, high pigment color that’s comfortable to wear and sumptuously soft.
Elizabeth Arden’s new Beautiful Color Moisturizing Lipsticks are available in 40 shades, in pearl, shimmer, and matte finishes. These lipsticks are said to have a moisturizing formula and high pigmentation. This review is for the shades Golden Nude, Desert Rose, Rose Berry, and Pink Vibration.
As a bonus, you can currently get free shipping on any order at Elizabeth Arden.
Each lipstick is beautifully packaged in a rectangular tube made of gold metal and shaped in the form of Elizabeth Arden’s door icon. Once you take off the top, the inside of the tube is silver. Each bullet is also embossed with the company’s door icon.
Golden Nude is a sheer, slightly peach nude that consists mostly of gold shimmer. This isn’t my favorite color or lipstick formula. You can feel the grains of shimmer, and there isn’t enough underlying color for my taste.
Desert Rose is a medium nude-pink that consists mostly of gold shimmer. Like Golden Nude, you can feel the grains of shimmer, and the underlying color is sheer.
Rose Berry is a semi-opaque rose-pink with rose shimmer. This shade has good color, and you can’t feel the shimmer particles.
Pink Vibration is a creamy medium nude without shimmer. Although this shade is matte in terms of having no shimmer, it has a glossy finish. It does have a slightly milky quality that can look uneven if you don’t apply it smoothly. This is my favorite of the 4 colors.
Rose Berry and Pink Vibration have a moisturizing formula. Although Golden Nude and Desert Rose have a similar consistency, they’re not as moisturizing because of all the shimmer.
These lipsticks have a typical wear time–around 2 hours–before needing some touching-up.
Ease of Use: 9/10
These lipsticks glide fairly easily onto the lips. The shimmery colors are more gritty, so they resist application a little more than the pearl and matte shades.
For $25.00 you get 0.12 ounces (3.5 grams) of product. This is slightly more expensive than average given the amount of product you get.
