Ellis Faas’s Blush is said to give the cheeks a touch of dewy and long-lasting color. The blush is available in 4 shades. This review is for the colors S301 (a warm dusty pink) and S3012 (fresh coral).

Packaging: 9.5/10

Like with all of Ellis Faas’s tube packaging, the blushes comes in a nifty, unique, silver, plastic pen tube shaped like a bullet. The tube is thin and light-weight.

Quality: 8.75/10

S301 is a brown-toned, warm nude pink. When this color is applied to the lips, this color also has a strong golden sheen.

S302 is a warm-toned, medium peach-pink. When applied to the lips, this color has a more metallic sheen than when it’s applied to the cheeks.

These shades have good pigmentation and apply on the softer side in terms of strength of color. Both shades leave the skin with a luminescent finish.

Ellis Faas’s blushes have a very thin cream formula that spreads out over the skin in a fairly smooth manner. The formula usually needs to be layered to avoid a splotchy surface. This is particularly true when you apply these blushes to the lips.

On the cheeks, these last all day without showing noticeable signs of fading. On the lips, these last about 2 hours before wearing off. Also, these aren’t moisturizing when used on the lips, so you may want to apply a balm on top.

Ease of Use: 8.75/10

The tube packaging can sometimes be a little frustrating because you have to twist the base until enough product comes out of the brush applicator, and it’s hard to tell how much you’re pushing out of the tube. The blush formula spreads over the skin fairly well, but make sure to work in thin layers to get rid of any patchiness.

Price: 7/10

For $32.00 you get 0.085 ounces (2.5 ml) of product. This is a very small amount of product given the price point.

I just got one of those blushers as a free gift with an online order. The first time I wanted to see the shade and the consistency of the blushes I had to twist the base like 10 minutes. It was a bit frustrating because I thought I got a broken one, but in the end it actually worked.
I must say that I really love the feel of the packaging. Looks really nice and sturdy.
