Baked minerals refined into a powder formula to provide exceptionally sheer and lightweight application. Colour builds lightly, layer after layer, without heavy coverage. Veils and enhances the cheekbones with a luminous, pearlized shimmer.
This review is for the 2 new Mineralize Blushes releasing with MAC’s A Fantasy Of Flowers Collection. The following 2 shades are depicted and reviewed:
- Azalea in the Afternoon: Mid-tone cool pink
- Petal Power: Coral pink with gold shimmer
Azalea in the Afternoon is a frosty, soft, yellow-tinted pink. It ends up being a frosty pink lemonade color, so it can work either as a blush or highlighter, depending on your skin color.
Petal Power is a soft rose shade with a shimmering gold finish that creates a stunning duo-chrome effect. In the sunlight, the golden finish is very strong, so you might want to use a light hand for daytime wear. But for nighttime wear, the mix of rose and gold in this blush is unique and alluring.
The mineralize formula, especially for Azalea in the Afternoon, is very powdery/crumbly. Despite the fact that the powder crumbles everywhere, though, the formula actually performs very well on application and wear throughout the day. The powder blends in smoothly and the pigmentation is buildable.
