Four coordinating Eye Shadow shades baked together in a single pinwheel pan. A brilliant way to experience Mineralize’s unique properties: remarkably blendable pre-coordinated colours, sheer lightweight application, a pearlized finish with a soft shimmer.
This review is for the 4 new Mineralize Eye Shadows releasing with MAC’s A Fantasy Of Flowers Collection. The following 4 shades are depicted and reviewed:
- In the Meadow: Ice shimmering white, dirty olive green, golden mint, pale yellow (Frost)
- Pink Sensibilities: Pinky brown, chocoalte brown, yellow pink, icy blue pink (Frost)
- Golden Hours: Copper bronze, golden brown, soft golden peach, pale yellow gold (Frost)
- Great Beyond: Deep blue violet, dusky plum, icy white lilac, soft mauve violet (Frost)
I’m not usually the biggest fan of MAC’s Mineralize Eye Shadow formula, but the powder for all of these shades is soft and creamy. Each eye shadow “quad” has colors with good pigmentation and the powder applies smoothly. If anything, the powder is soft enough to blend out too quickly if you’re not more delicate during application.
You also definitely need a primer underneath this formula because it creases more easily than regular pressed shadows.
Of the 4 shades, I think Golden Hours has colors that are more sheer. But, overall, the shades are good both in pigmentation and formula. You can also apply these with a damp brush.
