Pigment is a highly concentrated loose colour powder that contains ingredients to help it adhere to the skin. Create a subtle wash of colour or an intense effect. Does not streak or cake. Easy to blend and long-lasting. Please note: Pigments are sold by weight not volume. Containers can appear to be less than full due to settling of the product.
This review is for the 4 Pigments releasing with MAC’s A Fantasy Of Flowers Collection. The following 4 shades are depicted and reviewed:
- Lily-White: Pale butter-yellow shimmer
- Chartreuse Bouquet: Shimmering acid green
- Violet: Vivid bright violet purple (Permanent)
- Pink Pearl: Shimmery lavender-pink (Permanent at PRO)
Lily-White is a pale, shimmering butter. Chartreuse Bouquet is a crazy-bright, shimmering, acid green. Violet is a shimmering violet shade. Pink Pearl is a shimmering pink with a violet duo-chrome.
All of these shades have fantastic pigmentation and are shimmering. Pink Pearl is more translucent than the other 3 shades. But they all apply to the skin smoothly and have a soft formula. These can be worn alone, or over a base to really intensify the effect.
The only negative about these pigments is the price, and the fact that they’re $21.00 each but contain a pretty small amount of product.
