Marc Jacobs’s Style Eye-Con No. 3 Plush Shadows are eye shadow trios that come in 6 different shade sets. This review is for the trio The Shoe Gazer, which includes an antique gold, a matte taupe brown, and a light turquoise blue.
These trios come in oval compacts made of black, reflective plastic. The compacts look chic and expensive, but aren’t too heavy. The compact has a silver button that you press to open it. Inside, there is a full-sized mirror and the shadows are covered with a plastic piece. Each compact comes with its own felt-tip applicator. Both the applicator and compact come inside of a black bag.
The Shoe Gazer includes a metallic antique gold, a matte taupe brown, and a frosty light blue.
Every one of the shadows in this trio has a creamy, soft, smooth formula. Each shade is intensely pigmented and leaves a smooth layer of color on the skin.
These shadows last for about 4 hours on the lids without primer, and last for over 8 hours on the lids over primer.
Ease of Use: 9.75/10
These shadows are creamy and apply onto the skin with great pigmentation and in a smooth layer.
For $42.00 you get 0.14 ounce of shadow. This is more expensive per ounce than eyeshadow palettes from Guerlain, Dior, and Edward Bess, but turns out to be cheaper per ounce compared to Dolce & Gabbana’s quads.
