Light diffusing Face Studio Master Hi-Light blush and bronzer formulas have an expert balance of shade and shimmer illuminator for natural glow. Skin goes soft lit with zero glitz.
Maybelline’s new Master Hi-Light Powdered Bronzers are illuminating powder bronzers that come in 2 shades: Light Bronze and Deep Bronze. Keep reading for a review of both colors!
These bronzer come in round, plastic compacts with clear, flip-up lids. The compact also has a compartment under the powder pan that holds a brush and a mirror.
Light Bronze consists of the following colors: an off-white, a shimmering tan, a dusty rose, and a coffee shade. When these shades are mixed together, you get a very light gold-tan shade with light shimmer.
Deep Bronze consists of the following colors: a cream, a bronze, a brick red, and a milk chocolate shade. When these shades are mixed together, you get a warm-toned tan shade with very subtle shimmer.
The formula for both these shades is soft and smooth. Though both shades have shimmer in them, it’s hard to discern the shimmer particles because they’re pretty tiny. You get a sheen on the skin as opposed to a sparkle. And, while I still don’t think you can use these to contour, I do think they’d work perfectly for all-over the face for a sun-kissed tint, as well as for concentrated color on the cheeks.
Ease of Use: 9.75/10
These bronzers can be applied sheer or built up to strong color. The formula blends nicely into the skin.
For around $10.00, you get 0.31 ounces (9 grams) of product. For the amount of product you’re getting, this is a typical price point.
