François Nars’ iconic innovation, the original multi-purpose stick for eyes, cheeks, lips and body. Its unique creamy formula and sheer color blends effortlessly to create shimmering accents; contours or dynamic highlights on all skin tones. Apply with fingers: the skin’s warmth allows for perfect blending.
NARS’s Spring 2014 Collection features a new Multiple in the shade Na Pali Coast–a shimmering rose peach.
FYI, you can get a complimentary mini Orgasm Illuminator AND mini Aigle Noir Soft Touch Shadow Pencil with any purchase of $25 or more. Use code FEBMINIDUO at checkout. Ends 2/28.
This Multiple packaging is made of NARS’ classic, black rubberized plastic. The product comes in a cylindrical tube that has a slide-off cap. The base of the tube twists and pushes up the product.
Although NARS describes Na Pali Coast as a shimmering rose peach, I think it’s more accurately described as a rose-toned rust. It has micro-shimmer in it, which leaves a subtle sparkle to the skin without revealing any individual glitter particles.
I think this shade, which has good pigmentation, will work best for people with neutral or warm-toned skin, and would not suit those with pale skin with pink undertones.
The formula is thin and creamy, blending nicely over the skin. The color stays true for the first 5 hours of wear, and fades slightly thereafter.
Ease of Use: 9/10
This Multiple’s formula spreads over the skin easily, and blends in fairly smoothly. You don’t need to set this with powder, unless you want a more matte finish or if you want to extend the color’s strength past 5 hours.
For $39.00 you get 0.5 ounces of product. For comparison, Clinique’s Blushwear Cream Sticks cost $21.00 and contain 0.21 ounces; Shiseido’s Accentuating Color Sticks cost $33.00 and contain 0.35 ounces. $39.00 feels like quite a steep price, and it is on the expensive side, but you’re getting a decent amount of product. It’s a better deal than the price suggests, though it’s certainly not the best price-for-product ratio out there.
